Week 16 MONSTERS:

WR Michael Crabtree SF - Against a woeful Det DEF, add Alex Smith as a Monster too!

WR Derrick Mason - Didn't he retire in the pre-season?

TE Jermichael Finley - Sea can't stop the him, they are too small in the secondary.

Honorable mention: Chris Wells, Fred Jackson, Matt Moore & Caddy

Week 1 we chose Mike Bell (a MONSTER 143 yards, but NO TD??!!), John Carlson (6/95/2) and Finley (dud)...

Week 2 was Brent Celek (Monster), Michael Bush & Michael Clayton.  The Michael's were having none of it, they fizzled!

Week 3 Greg Olsen scored, but not much yardage, Brent Celek was indeed a MONSTER, Slaton fizzled, but Felix Jones was on his way to a Monster night, until he fell down and got a boo boo, Sims-Walker 8 catches, but no TD.

Week 4 saw Leon Washington crash and burn, but Mike Sims-Walker had a Godzilla like performance.  Jason Campbell had 2TDs, but 3 INTs killed his Monster status.

Week 5 and Tim Hightower came thru with a TD, but not much yardage, Kevin Walter came up small, Owen Daniels showed up (8/94) and Mendenhall as predicted was a man (5.1 ypc and a TD).  Honorable mention Jeremy Maclin was the true MOnster with his 2 TD performance.

Week 6 John Carlson, Chris Henry (DUD!!), Jermichael Finley, Keenan Burton, Honorable Mentions Hakeem Nicks, Leon Washington...

Week 7 and it was a bad juju week to be listed here.  Jermichael Finley HURT! And his replacement got a loooong TD reception!  Donald Brown, well on his way to a MONSTER day, HURT! Leon Washington, HURT!  Indy Def came up Big, as did Sidney Rice.

Week 8 the Cutler to Knox hook-up got derailed, but Sidney Rice came through.

Week 9 - Wow, we may as well have been on a bye.  Breaston was nice, but GB, Maclin, Nicks all missing in action.

Week 10 Monsters - Burleson was one of our MONSTERS, nuff said!

Week 11 - Vast improvement with Jason Snelling leading the way for Mike Bell and Brandon Gibson, however Jermichael Finley came up small, as did Caddy.

Week 12 - Call it Redemption week! Crabtree, Chris Brown & Justin Forsett came thru.  Surprinsingly, Alex Smith didn't do as well as we thought.

Week 13 - Danny Amendola went AWOL...thanks for nothing.  Jonathan Stewart showed up as did Chris Brown and finally, Jermichael Finley!!!  Where was Avant too?

Week 14 - Fred Jackson, Bo Scaife & Alex Smith

Week 15 - Berrian Not, Fred Davis Yes.

In 2008 "MONSTER PICKS" was our most popular place to hit on our site...geez, even more so then our rankings!!!  We will be back in 2009 uncovering some buried treasures from the Free Agent heap and from players drafted AFTER the 4th Round.
